Are you an experienced and detail-oriented finance professional? This is a great opportunity to join our Finance team BASScare. We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver exceptional service outcomes. The role is vital within our aged care service organisation, ensuring timely and accurate financial processing that supports our commitment to quality care.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities of the role include:

  • Processing resident & client billing across our Residential Aged Care, Retirement Living and Community Services businesses
  • Maintaining accurate resident and client records, ensuring fees, charges and government funding information is correct and up to date
  • Monitoring and managing debtor balances, following up on outstanding accounts in line with organisational policies
  • Responding to queries from residents, clients and representatives in a timely and professional manner
  • Supporting month end processes, including accounts receivable reconciliations and revenue accruals
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any billing or payment issues
  • Contributing to process and system improvements to enhance efficiency and customer service

About You:

Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable procedures and accounting principles
  • Proficient in general office administration tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

  • 3 years+ experience in aged care or a similar environment
  • Familiarity with finance-related systems used in residential care
