About Deli Dakota: Deli Dakota is a vibrant specialty coffee & sandwich shop nestled in the heart of Mount Gravatt East. We pride ourselves on serving delicious, freshly prepared hand held eats in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our menu is crafted with care, featuring a variety toasties, made to order sandwiches, a small but delicious breakfast menu, and seriously (and lovingly made) specialty coffee that keep our customers coming back for more. We are a close-knit team dedicated to providing exceptional service and creating a positive & fun dining experience for our guests.

Position Overview: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to lead our team as Deli Dakota Venue Manager.

As the Venue Manager, you'll be an integral part of the Deli Dakota experience. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our cafe while delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining our exceptionally high standards on food and coffee and growing the business.

**Responsibilities**:

- Making coffee to a consistent and high standard
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all areas of the cafe.
- Coordinate stocking and organizing inventory & stock take
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations.
- Contribute ideas for menu improvements and participate in promotional activities.
- Looking after social media

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in specialty coffee as a barista is a plus but not required - we're happy to train the right individuals.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends.
- Experience rostering
- Ability to hit targets and financial goals, stay within cost of goods targets and keep rostering budgets

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
