**About the role**
The Assistant in Nursing is responsible for the delivery of care and services to residents in all areas of activities of daily living in accordance with the resident’s identified needs and preferences. The AIN provides support that considers the residents’ physical, spiritual, social and cultural needs. The AIN will work to maintain the resident’s own independence. The AIN is responsible to report all changes of the residents’ care to the RN or Facility Manager.

**Requirements of the Assistant in Nursing role**
- Minimum 6 months paid work experience in an Aged Care residential setting
- Letter of Employment or Pay slip of previous employment
- Two Referees of a supervisor or manager from previous employer
- A passionate, caring and empathetic personality is a MUST
- Bachelor of Nursing students who have completed their first-year placement
- Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent
- First Aid Certificate
- Flu and Covid 19 Vaccination with booster shot record
- Valid Police Check (within 3 months of validity)
- Flexible to work various hours
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Unrestricted work rights
- NDIS Worker screening check
- From $37.64 to $65.87
