**What's the job?**

At the start of the day or the end of one, is there anyone more welcoming than a smiling face? As a part of our Food and Beverage team, you’ll be a helpful host, a local expert, and a proud brand ambassador. Whether you’re preparing drinks exactly as our guests want or serving them delicious food, you’ll be devoted to creating memorable experiences across our restaurants and bars

**What we need from you**
- Australian working rights (required)
- Can work predominately afternoon/evening shifts (required) with possible availability for occasional day shifts.
- Working across multiple Food & Beverage operations - restaurant and bars, room service and banquets
- Whether first on shift, or last to leave; creating a warm welcome to everyone and setting the tone for each guest’s experience
- Preparing and serving food and beverage to a high standard, highlighting promotions and maximising up-selling opportunities
- Effective operation of Infrasys Point of Sale software
- Ensure all financial transactions are handled in a secure manner
- Strictly adhere to IHG policy concerning the Trade Practices Act, Gifts and Bribery and Data Privacy. Maintain all procedures and adheres to them within the IHG guidelines; with emphasis on hotel credit policy
- Ensure that all food and beverage facilities and equipment are cleaned, vacuumed, and properly stocked according to anticipated business volume. Notify engineering immediately of any maintenance and repair needs and use ESCAP as required
- Champion the identification and reporting of hazards, and evaluate risks associated with them, and design and implementation of hazard control measures
- Demonstrate a sound awareness of Crisis Management, HACCP & WH&S policies and procedures. This includes accurate record keeping for HACCP
