- **Educator - Job Description**_

**Educator Responsibilities**
- Educators will be familiar with and adhere to Centre policies, procedures, and philosophies.
- Educators will demonstrate ongoing engagement with the principles outlined in the National Quality Framework.
- Educators will act in the best interests of children.
- Educators will report any Occupational Health and Safety issues to management.
- Educators will work collaboratively with OOSH and Learning Centre staff.
- Educators will reflect on their professional practices.

**Educator Roles**
- Usual shift times are Monday through Friday between 6:45-9:00 AM and/or 2:00
- 6:00 PM unless otherwise instructed by management.
- Attend monthly staff meetings
- Contribute to curriculum programming and documentation.
- Provide first aid if qualified (ACECQA approved courses only)
- Actively supervise children
- Prepare food for the children
- Complete cleaning checklists
- Communicate with parents and families
- Communicate with teachers, school staff, Learning Centre staff, and other professionals
- Lead and assist group activities
- Perform manual handling tasks
- Educators will perform any other reasonable tasks instructed by management.

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Morning shift

Licence/Certification:

- Working with Children Check (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
