Wood has a collaborative maintenance contract with Seqwater to deliver leading maintenance services in the water industry. These projects cover South East Queensland across multiple locations.

We are currently seeking a permanent Principal HSEQ Advisor to support our water maintenance partnership on a permanent contract. This role supports the business in providing and assisting with HSEQ matters across all 3 sites and is based at our Brisbane office.

Applicants must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for the role.
- Monitor SCMC performance with the WHS, environmental, quality, risk management and other business systems
- Conduct inspections and audits to measure SCMC performance and compliance with contractual provisions and prepare reports to document findings and improvement recommendations
- Develop and maintain the processes and tools to measure and manage compliance
- Conduct training and coaching of operational staff undertaking audits, inspections and job observations as required
- Facilitate continual improvement within SCMC performance
- Flexibility to work across regions and business units

**Experience**
- Extensive Field Experience (preferably high-risk environments) essential
- Working knowledge of WHS, Environmental management and Quality requirements for internal and outsourced contracts
- Knowledge of drinking water quality management principles and practices
- Good communication, interpersonal, negotiation and facilitation skills including the ability to conduct negotiations and influence others
- Demonstrated ability to work independently to deliver high quality outcomes within agreed timeframes
- Knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements
- Development of contract HSE performance and data reporting
- Communicate and co-operate with external stakeholders including, industrial bodies, market intelligence, relevant conferences and vendors

**Skills / Qualifications**
- Diploma in WHS is essential
- Cert IV in Training Assessment is a requirement
- Desirable:

- Auditor or Lead Auditor qualifications
- ICAM
- Environmental qualifications
- Diploma or experience in Quality disciplines will be well regarded
