**The Role**
As we continue to support our strategic objectives of Growth, Experience and Value creation, the Chief Innovation and Transformation Office (CITO) have stood up an 18-month program of work aimed at improving our customers’ experience, both internally and externally. This includes different streams of work that would impact across various Value Streams such as Group Insurance, Individual Insurance, Operations, etc. across the organisation aimed at reducing manual processes, improving and uplifting existing systems whilst still meeting our regulatory obligations.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager (Integration), the Integration Lead role is an 18-month fixed term contract. You will be responsible for supporting any integration solutions across various projects and BAU operations.
You will collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to successfully design, develop and support the software platforms to deliver business outcomes in an agile, DevOps environment as part of a team.
This may include delivering any platform product backlog items across the end-to-end platform as part spanning architectural layers, including middleware and database.
**About You**
A seasoned and highly independent Senior Mulesoft Professional with 8+ years of experience in developing and delivering integration projects in agile environment, you have spent most of your career focused on the Mulesoft technology with a minimum 4 years of experience in either Mule 3 or 4.
As a Lead within the Mulesoft team, you will act as a Senior within the team to provide opportunities for training, mentorship, and uplift of capabilities for your peers.
Your knowledge and expertise will also enable you to lead and drive technical designs and architecture of our landscape in the Mulesoft space.
While experience in the Insurance or financial services industry is preferred, it is not mandatory.
Other technical requirements include:
- In depth knowledge/expertise of Mule ESB offerings like Anypoint Studio, API manager, Runtime Manager, Anypoint Exchange, Anypoint Platform, Cloudhub etc.
- Experience in designing and developing mule flows/sub flows, exception handling strategy, batch flows etc. Assist in establishing best mule practices with time.
- Experience in RAML and/or Swagger/OpenAPI, JSON, XML, XML schemas, and SOAP and REST based web service development. Maven is required.
- In depth knowledge of microservices architecture and REST principles, Active MQ, JMS principles, Dataweave.
- Experience in design using API led connectivity.
- Experience designing, developing, securing, and managing APIs via API Gateways and proxies.
- Experience in handling CI/CD tools (Bitbucket, bamboo etc.). DevOps is desirable. OpenShift platform knowledge is expected.
- Oracle, postgres, MySQL database knowledge.
- Experience in Dynatrace is desirable.
- Experience in handling, debugging production incidents and responding within defined SLAs. Basic understanding in handling Service Now is expected.
- Good knowledge on Integration patterns, design principle and security.
- Experience in Splunk or Kibana is desirable.
