- Chair and be a member of the various governance committees, advisory and clinical groups involving a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice pertaining to medication safety issues and clinical pharmacology inclusive of formulary recommendations, preferred therapeutic agents, proposed restrictions and formulary decision making. This will include evidence-based best practice, cost-effectiveness reviews and horizon scanning.
- Lead formal engagement between senior sector stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships and networks with clinicians, professional colleges, health industry, government, consumer and academic bodies to ensure effectiveness of SCV in medication safety and clinical quality matters.
- Provide input and advice on other projects relating to medicines and therapeutics.
**What we offer**:
- The opportunity to perform meaningful work, making direct contributions toward enabling Victorians to be the healthiest people in the world.
- A wide range of growth and development opportunities within the department and wider Victorian Public Service & Sector.
