**You'll be responsible for**
- Answering customer phone calls and assisting with their enquiries.
- Underwriting and assessing risk for Direct workers compensation clients in Western Australia, Australian Capital Territory, Tasmania and the Northern Territory, including new business and renewals.
- Processing workflows and answering phone calls to ensure delivery of quality products and services to Allianz customers.
- Accurately interpreting, anticipating, and providing solutions to customers’ needs from available information to design sustainable responses to suit customer circumstances and address their needs.
- Ensuring all business underwritten contributes to portfolio targets and profitability and that underwriting bias is given to risks that display better than average profitability through selection and prudent underwriting.

**About you**
- A curious nature and a customer service mindset with good phone manner/skills.
- Enthusiastic team player with ability to optimise business value to customers by delivering high quality services and positive customer experiences to sustain and enhance the customer base.
- Prior experience within Claims/Dispute Resolution/Underwriting within the Insurance industry is highly desired.
- Proven analytical and critical thinking capability to interpret a range of data, identify patterns, trends and links that inform judgements and solutions.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently within authority limits.
