**About This Role** The Head of HR is a member of the Senior Management tam of CAE Defense & Security for the IPAC (India-Pacific) region. This role provides strategic HR support to Senior Business and People Leaders across the region and will execute key HR initiatives and continue developing a high-performance sustainable organisation. You will lead the HR function and have full accountability for all HR activities including development and delivery of HR strategy and policies across multi sites and organisations, talent management, HR operations, HR services and people performance. The role reports into the Director HR, Defense & Security International, with a dotted line to the Managing Director, Defense & Security, IPAC. **This role will also be based in our Head Office in Homebush, NSW.** **The role we are offering you** - Provide HR Leadership and strategic partnership to the D&S business for IPAC - Develop and implement HR strategy - Ensure succession plans for key positions and develop talent pipelines - Build frameworks of standardisation for local HR services and policies in line with Global guidelines - Champion your team and wider people development across the business - Strong HR experience, desirable to also a tertiary HR degree - Solid background in compensation, organisational development, training management, employee relations and industrial relations - Global HR experience will be highly considered - Ability to work across different cultures, time zones and engage remotely with peers globally **What CAE offers you**: - Opportunity to make a positive impact on Australian defence and security - Exciting career paths in a truly global business - Global Flexible Leave policy **Security requirements** **_As the Australian Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance._** **Applications** **Position Type** Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
