**About the role**

To support our success we are looking for a Manager, Payments to join the Operations team based in Brisbane.

In this newly created role, you will oversee the management and delivery of our payment functions, including member payments, retirement income streams and income protection payments. You will also be responsible for the optimisation of resources through capacity planning, driving simplification, efficiency, and automation to enable sustainable growth and scale. This will also see you bring high quality customer experiences to life through the leadership and management of a customer centric and outcome focused team.

You will work closely with the Senior Manager, Service Delivery and the Operations leadership team you will proactively support customer experience, growth, operational excellence, and service delivery whilst considering the overall goals and performance standards of the Operations business unit, risk parameters and financial measures.

This role is available as a permanent opportunity.

We are **flexible** with location provide you can attend our **Brisbane** office at least once a week.

**About you**

If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications will include:

- Relevant tertiary qualification.
- ASFA100 or RG146 superannuation compliant.
- Demonstrated experience in a management role within the Financial Services industry, ideally dealing with superannuation products and member and intermediary services.
- Strong, demonstrated experience in the leadership of service operations teams including coaching people leaders to develop, support and contribute to team’s success.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and influencing teams to successfully achieve organisational objectives, deal with change, managing and delivering a range of competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate outcomes through stakeholder management and relationships.
- Understanding of continuous business process improvement frameworks.
- Demonstrated professional work ethic with a proven ability to take on new challenges and be able to adapt to change.
