As we are expanding our team, Casual opportunities are available at this leading Childcare centre
Essential Qualifications:
- Certificate III, Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).- Current and valid Working With Children Check (or ability to obtain one).- First Aid Certificate, including training in asthma and anaphylaxis
Key Skills and Attributes:
- Create a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all children.- Understand the developmental milestones and needs of various age groups.- Design, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate programs.- Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues.- Work seamlessly as part of a diverse and dynamic team.- Adapt to the evolving needs of an early childhood setting with creativity and grace.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Familiarity with the national early learning framework for children from birth to five years.- Insight into quality service standards and assessment processes.- Respect for diverse cultures, families, and individual children’s needs.- Proficiency in using computers and software for documenting children’s learning and development.- Previous experience as an Educator, Assistant Educator, Childcare Assistant, or similar.
