**What we are looking for?**

NDIS FOR YOU is looking for passionate and committed Disability Support Workers to join our organisation. We are keen to speak to people that are interested in establishing a career within the dynamic disability sector. We have a great opportunity to support our clients to live within their own homes and within the community. You will support our clients to increase their daily living skills, life skills and reach their individual goals. Our requirements are:
Ø Understanding & commitment to the principles of duty of care, and rights to privacy and confidentiality.

Ø Punctuality

Ø Flexible availability

Ø Comfortable to use own vehicle for transportation services (travel allowances are available)

Ø Knowledge & experience supporting participants with disability or mental health.

**We are responsible for delivering a range of support to our participants which include**:
Ø Meal preparation and assisting with eating & drinking

Ø Enabling mobility, including moving & handling transfers, hoists, and wheelchairs.

Ø Social Support & transportation

Ø Respite Care

Ø Dementia Care

Ø Support and respect participants routine

Ø Reporting & recording as per company’s procedure at all times,

Ø Adhering to company’s policies & procedures

Ø Supporting our participants to make decisions & have choices

Ø Supporting our participants achieve their goals

Ø Our participants come first, so treating them like your own family member and have factor of care is our number one priority.

**Requirements/ (or willing to obtain)**:

- **Fluent English**
- **Current Police Check**
- **NSW Driver’s Licence**
- **Own Vehicle & Comprehensive Insurance**
- **Current First Aid (within 3 years)**
- **CPR (within 12 months)**
- **Citizenship / Working Rights**
- **Certificate III/IV in individual support**
- **Certificate III in disability**
- **Working with Children Check**
- **NDIS worker screening check (NDISWC)**
- **Certificate of completion NDIS worker orientation online training**
- **Certificate of completion Covid-19 Infection control online training**
- **Minimum 6-month experience supporting clients in a home or community care setting**

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

- First Aid and CPR Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- NDIS clearance check (required)
