Our client is seeking to engage a Procurement Specialist Officer on a contract for 4 weeks.
**Position Overview**
**Duties & Responsibilities**:
- In collaboration with the Senior Manager Facilities and Senior Manager Procurement and Contracts, develop a Strategic Procurement Plan and any supporting materials CIT can present to the GPB for endorsement.
- In collaboration with the Senior Managers Facilities and Procurement and Contracts prepare a more detailed procurement plan and schedule of activities to support the timely processing of each procurement.
- Commence the preparation of Request for Tender (RFT) documentation and communication with Procurement team for a number of RFT's to be completed in conjunction with Procurement Agency.
- As a contractor with the Agency, you will be expected to always uphold Agency’s Public Service Values and Signature Behaviours and act in a professional manner.
- While this position will be mostly located in an office environment, you will still need to maintain good Work Health and Safety practices in setting up your workstation and seating adjustments to suit your individual needs. You will also need to maintain appropriate WHS practices when visiting campus sites to ensure relevant Personal Protective Equipment is used, specifically in high-risk workspaces.
