**About the Company**
The company is a global supplier of laboratory molecular diagnostic products. This well-established company has been around for many years, supporting healthcare and laboratory professionals internationally.

**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity is available to work with a leading global supplier of clinical diagnostics within the pathology market. We are currently seeking a technical specialist with clinical diagnostics experience within a clinical laboratory and/or similar sales experience selling to the clinical pathology market.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide technical sales support by communicating with the researchers, pathologists, laboratory staff, purchasing staff and administrators.
- Have the ability to maintain and grow accounts by providing superior customer service, communicating with customers and assisting them in achieving their goals.
- Advise the customer to determine which products and solutions are the most appropriate for fulfilling requirements.
- Participate in product demonstrations.
- Regularly provide feedback to the organization about customer trends, market developments, and competitive activities.
- Travel across QLD for face-to-face meetings with customers and attendance at roadshows and conferences.

**About The Person**
This role is ideal for someone with proven experience working in a technical role in clinical diagnostics.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of BSc in a relevant medical science discipline
- A clear understanding of the workflow in a clinical diagnostics laboratory
- Experience in Immunoassay, Serology, Microbiology and or Molecular diagnostics preferred
- The ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of research and clinical staff
- Willingness to travel across QLD, potentially interstate

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is technically minded and has experience in a clinical laboratory. It's a great stepping stone for an established salesperson looking to broaden their career, A Scientist in a Pathology laboratory looking to transition into Commercial Science or an Engineer or Application specialist seeking more experience in a sales environment.
