Downer Group is seeking a proactive and motivated Logistics Supervisor to join our Support Services team at the Royal Adelaide Hospital. This is a vital role ensuring smooth logistics and distribution operations across a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

**About the role**:
You’ll oversee a team responsible for managing inventory, freight, mail, linen, and equipment movement—supporting the hospital’s mission to provide outstanding patient care. This is a full-time opportunity working a Monday - Friday, 0800 - 1600 schedule.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise day-to-day operations of warehouse, linen store, mailroom, and internal logistics, ensuring smooth and timely service delivery
- Lead, coach, and develop team members, managing performance and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement
- Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), recommending improvements and corrective actions when needed
- Coordinate with internal departments and external service providers (e.g. couriers), ensuring efficient and professional communication
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality assurance, and infection control standards across all logistics activities

**About you**:
**Skills and Personal Attributes**:

- Previous supervisory experience in logistics, warehousing, or healthcare (preferred but not essential)
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills, with the ability to build team morale and drive performance
- Solid understanding of safe manual handling practices, infection control, and workplace health and safety requirements
- High level of initiative, reliability, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities in a busy environment
- Positive attitude toward team collaboration, quality improvement, and delivering outstanding service to internal stakeholders
