Over the last 7 years, Jimmy O'Neill's Whiskey & Alehouse has established itself as a local busy hub for customers, residents and tourists as it is situated right beside St Kilda beach on Acland Street.

We are passionate for live music, creating a welcoming atmosphere and delivering top notch customer service for food and drinks.

We are a young, passionate and energetic company that will be expanding early next year with a 3rd venue on the horizon, as well as a live music festival that takes place annually for St Patrick's Day weekend every March.

**The opportunity**

We are currently seeking a Venue Manager to run the operations at our busy local Irish Bar. The venue is positioned in a prime location on Acland Street, a stone throw from St Kilda beach and Luna Park.

This position is perfect for someone who is hospitality career focused and driven with plenty of opportunity to grow within the company and learn new skills.

**Key facets of the role**:

- Overseeing the daily operations of the business
- Training & development of junior team members
- Responsible for managing shifts and leading your team to deliver high-quality service to guests
- Stock ordering and control management
- Managing opening & closing procedures
- Ensuring all business requirements are set
- Running the venues social media accounts

**What skills and knowledge do I need?**
- Proven experience running a hospitality venue
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- History of developing staff
- Full working rights in Australia
- Experience with speciality cocktails, whiskey, beer and wine
