Principal Project Coordinator

Our client, a large QLD Government department is seeking to engage an experienced project coordinator to _oversee multiple complex building projects from the planning and pre-design phase to practical completion.
**As the Principal Project Coordinator, you will have responsibility for the following**:
- _Client side Project Manager - Lead, manage and coordinate all aspects of school building projects delivery through initial planning, construction and commissioning of multiple complex projects within a legislative and contractual framework._
- _Procure and manage external project management and Principal consultant teams._
- _Lead and report against key sub-programs and significant projects within the Department's Investment Program._
- _Develop, maintain and monitor critical relationships with clients, stakeholders and service providers for the purpose of achieving and sustaining a high level of client satisfaction._
- _Contribute to the continuous improvement agendas, including the development of business plans and processes to promote best practice in service provision._
- _Provide high level support to unit managers by retaining an interest in creating, maintaining, renewing and improving built environments for the benefit of end users._
- _Prepare coherent and politically sensitive reports, correspondence and submissions to key stakeholders and clients._
- _Provide advice and guidance to other staff including administration and financial teams._
- _Support the work of other team members through mentoring and training opportunities._
- _Other suitable duties, consistent with the duties and responsibilities of the position as directed by the supervisor or nominated delegate._
