Scientific/technical Officer in Pathology

Austech Medical Laboratories (AML) has been providing pathology and diagnostic services for over 24 years. In that time we have continuously improved and gained the operational expertise to provide the best service possible, ensuring the optimal results for our clients and patients.
An opportunity to work at our new branch Wise Pathology laboratory in Gold Coast is now available.
Full-time/part-time positions are available for:
- A responsible individual who is punctual, flexible in shifts and is able to work on weekends
- Has a demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Able to work with mínimal supervision
Duties will include:
- Data entry
- Specimen reception
- Analysis of specimens
- Maintenance of instruments
- Test reporting and validation where required
- Reporting urgent and abnormal results to relevant clinicians
- Participating in routine testing in Biochemistry and Haematology disciplines
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor degree in Science/Biomedical Science or Diploma in Pathology testing or an equivalent qualification
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Certificate III in Pathology Collection is highly desirable
