**About the Role**

This role is a great opportunity for graduates in the Allied Health industry. With business increasing we are looking to recruit for **multiple positions **at Donvale Rehabilitation Hospital within our inpatient and day rehabilitation programs. Inpatient and Day Rehabilitation role, working in the Physiotherapy department with a mix of individual, group, hydrotherapy and admin tasks throughout the day.

Our Allied Health Assistants work within a supportive team of over 70 Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and AHAs, passionate about providing the best quality care for patients.

Our team prides itself on exceeding Ramsay’s high standard of care with a professional and positive attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for its patients.

**About You**

We are seeking Allied Health Assistants who thrive working within a multidisciplinary team and will be committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.

You will bring a strong clinical skillset with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service.

You will also demonstrate;
- Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or currently completing a Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology degree
- Hospital or rehabilitation work experience is desirable
- A positive and flexible approach to work in a developing service
- A desire to care and help a wide range of patient groups
- Provide a quality customer focused service

All duties are under direction and supervision of physiotherapists and exercise physiologists and include:

- Assisting with the provision of exercise programs and patient treatments to both inpatients and day patients. This is in the form of land or aquatic based, with both individual and group-based therapy being delivered
- Department administration tasks
- Maintenance of department equipment
- Implementation of changes within the service to ensure excellent clinical outcomes
- Involvement in departmental and hospital wide quality activities

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19 **(vaccine must be approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation)
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
