**HSE Adviser**

Based in Brisbane, this role plays a vital function for the success of Wagners various operations by facilitating positive Health, Safety and Environmental outcomes.

**Duties will include**:

- Influence positive health, safety, and environmental change in the workplace
- Develop strong working relationships to coach and motivate positive safety and environmental outcomes
- Assist with identification, development & delivery of mandatory training and competency requirements
- Provide advice, consultation, monitoring and governance for effective risk control and compliance
- Manage, monitor, and develop the relevant Management Systems
- Facilitate audits and inspections in accordance with legislative and Company requirements
- Maintain a sound knowledge of current legislation, policies, guidelines, and standards requirements
- Office and field work across multiple locations
- Travel to regional sites monthly - fly and/or drive

**The successful applicant will possess the following**:

- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role desirable
- Tertiary qualifications or Diploma of WHS minimum
- Extensive experience in managing Health, Safety and Environmental risks and compliance
- Proficiency working with QSE management systems & ISO standards
- Experience in operations involving heavy plant, vehicles, and equipment
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment desirable
- Auditing Skills, ICAM desirable
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong capability using Microsoft office suite
