Our key capabilities cover the full range of services including maintenance, shutdowns, turnaround, and outage delivery, sustaining capital programs, project development and commissioning services.

We have an opportunity for an experienced Zero Harm Advisors to join our Industrial and Energy West - Inland business in a FIFO based out of Perth WA, responsible for maintenance shutdown across various sites.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

As a Zero Harm Advisor, you will actively support, coach, mentor and provide technical advice to internal stakeholders across a multitude of projects. This dynamic role will have a mix exposure to site-based and office with a focus on bringing people together to ensure we achieve our Safety objectives whilst contributing to the innovation of the business.

The Zero Harm Advisor will work collaboratively with the Industrial and Energy business and the main responsibilities include:

- Provide governance, implementation, improvement, and maintenance of Zero Harm Management system.
- Conduct scheduled audits and inspections against plans, procedures, and risks to meet Downer and the client’s and legislative requirements.
- Provide support to Project Teams, fostering a positive safety culture through provision of information from initiatives including site Safety Walks, Observations, and Inspections.
- Support proactive risk reduction and continuous improvement programs.
- Support and participate in the investigation and analysis of workplace safety events to identify and facilitate the sharing of lessons learned relevant to improving Zero Harm performance.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Tertiary qualifications Occupational Health and Safety advantageous
- Proven experience as a Zero Harm Advisor in a Maintenance / Shutdown environment
- Experience working on BHP / Rio Tinto sites (desirable)
- Quality / Safety Lead Internal Auditor (desirable)
- ICAM Lead Incident Investigation (desirable)
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities in a safety context
- Influential and conversational communication style, utilising a partnering approach to build on learning insights across the business
- Ability to adapt across complex working environments and engage with multiple stakeholders
- Collaborative predisposition to appropriately exercising flexibility, and tenaciousness
- Strong computer and data analysis skills that extend to report collation and presentation
