Today, we are the world’s premier LCL ocean freight consolidator, and we’re still pushing boundaries. **ABOUT THE ROLE** As the Operations Representative for Exports and Customer Service, you will be required to coordinate the receival and packing of containers ensuring all shipping requirements at origin and destination are adhered to while providing the highest level of Customer Service to all customers. Essential duties & responsibilities as follows: - Creating bookings & coordinating cartage - Arranging consolidation of FCL/ FAK/ FCX/ LCL and break bulk shipments - Export customs reporting - Issue correct documentation to customers and agents - Hazardous, Customs & AQIS arrangements - Job Costing, Invoicing & EOM closures - Quoting & Customer Service - Develop & maintain relationships with customers & vendors **WHATS REQUIRED** - Demonstrated experience in freight forwarding operations is essential - Export sea operations experience would be highly advantageous - Strong relationship building experience with excellent communication skills, both written & verbal - Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment - Well organised with the ability to multitask - High level attention to detail & problem solving skills **WHY VANGUARD?** We are an industry stalwart and a true innovator.
