An exciting opportunity currently exists for two enthusiastic and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our Cardiac Diagnostic team.

**About the role**:
Austin Health is the major provider of tertiary health services, health professional education and research across 3 campuses for the northeast of Melbourne and state-wide. Austin Health is world-renowned for its research and specialist work in cancer, liver transplantation, spinal cord injuries, neurology, endocrinology, mental health and rehabilitation.

**About the Cardiology Department**:
We have 2 full time Educators whose job is to assist with education and training for all staff, there are weekly teaching sessions for staff to attend.

**The role**:
To be successful in this role you must be a fully accredited Cardiac Physiologist trained in Echocardiography.

Key responsibilities include:

- **Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of principles of cardiac technology and the results generated.**:

- ** Independently perform high quality recordings requiring extensive expertise and use appropriate judgement when acting on the findings for Echocardiogram**:

- ** Assist the Cardiologist with Transoesophageal, Treadmill/Pharmacological stress echocardiograms**:

- ** Continually seeks ways to improve systems and procedures**:

- ** Reflects on practice in line with Austin Health values and applies these when interacting with others**
