Cardiac Physiologist - Grade 1
A Grade 1 Cardiac Physiologist position is now available in the Cardiac Diagnostic Service at Western Health
This entry level position offers an opportunity for suitably qualified personnel to train and develop skills as a Cardiac Physiologist in specialised areas of interest in cardiology supported by specialised Cardiac Rhythm and Echocardiography Cardiac Physiologists within these specialised modalities of the Cardiac Diagnostic Service.
This position is supported by an education program and gives you an opportunity to develop skills within a collaborative multidisciplinary team in a friendly and supportive team environment.
The Cardiac Diagnostic Service at Western Health supports inpatient and outpatient services across both Footscray and Sunshine hospitals. Each site has a Cardiac Care Unit, Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratories and an Intensive Care Unit. The Cardiac Diagnostic Service supports these services at both sites. Planning for expansion of Cardiology services in the New Footscray Hospital provides opportunities for career advancement and professional growth within the Cardiac Diagnostic Service.
The Cardiac Physiologist team perform and support acute and elective, inpatient and outpatient investigations across both Sunshine and Footscray campuses including Cardiac Cath Lab, Ambulatory Blood pressure, ECG monitor analysis, assistance and support of echocardiogram stress testing and transoesophageal procedures.
