Help at Hand Support Services ‘HAHS’ is a specialist disability support provider that is passionate about helping empower our participants to live their best life. **The role**:
The Team Leader will be responsible running the day to day operations of services provided by HAHS.
- You will be managing, mentoring and assisting development of office and support staff.
- You will be tasked with growing and maintaining the client base and ensuring the smooth running of services.
- You will work to build and maintain a strong services team and ensure that our quality standards are kept high.
- You will provide feedback and ideas and have opportunity in the development of the organisation’s strategic direction.
- You will be responsible for fiscal reporting and other important measurements of the services unit to higher management on a frequent basis.
**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
- Supervising Care staff and support staff in the provision of services.
- Involved in the training and development of staff.
- Coordinating the delivery of daily supports and providing supervision and monitoring
- Providing overall leadership day to day to the services team.
- Reporting regularly to management about performance
- Run weekly and monthly meetings
- Ensure the smooth running of the day to day operations
- Ensure efficient utilisation of staff and allocating work efficiently and within required timeframes
- Actively participate in the recruitment strategy, ongoing recruitment process and orientations.
- Promote and maintain a safe work environment in accordance with our Work Health & Safety policy.

- Proven experience in a similar role and thorough understanding of the NDIS
- High level of organisational and time management skills
- Experience as a manager of people, preferrably running a service team
- Experience coordinating and allocating support services.
- Experience with rostering using a digital rostering software
- Exceptional customer service skills coupled with patience and commitment
- The ability to build and maintain rapport with clients and other stakeholders.
- High level of computer literacy and experience using CRM’S
- Demonstrated ability to develop and manage business budgets
- Demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS policies and guidelines
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Valid NDIS worker check
**Qualifications/Experience**:
- Qualification in Disability, Community services or other relevant areas
- Minimum 1 years experience as a Team Leader in NDIS organisation supporting a team providing in supports ( in home/ SIL)
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
