**About the Role
We’re looking for a trade qualified Motor Assessor to accurately assess vehicle damage to determine cost-effective and safe repairs while ensuring the best outcome for the customer and balancing the needs of the business. To achieve this, you will develop and maintain strong relationships with repairers, parts suppliers and other industry bodies as well as internal stakeholders within the business.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:
- Conduct desk top vehicle assessments
- Develop and maintain relationships with third party panel beaters and other trade services
- Negotiate with mechanics, panel beaters and other suppliers to ensure market competitiveness and fairness
- Own and manage quality assurances to a pre-established standard of service, and manage in accordance with Ensure that all interactions between customers, and also corporate partners are managed effectively and professionally
- Conduct random repair quality and pricing audits
- Ability to identify process improvements and manage change effectively
**Required Behaviour & Skills**:
- Extensive knowledge of the fleet and motor vehicle assessment industry and the latest repair methodology
- Have a working knowledge of vehicle mechanics and vehicle repair
- Strong strategic and analytical skills and be able to accurately assess damage from imagery
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Have a clear understanding of the rules and regulations of motor carrier safety
- Be able to multitask and think on your feet
- Computer and assessor platform literacy
