SUMMARY:
The Marketing & Communications Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously refining comprehensive customer centric marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, generate demand, and support sales efforts across various verticals, including residential, healthcare, education, aged care, corrections construction, and industrial safety.

Whilst reporting into the Senior Marketing, Communications & Training Manager, this role demands a results-driven and action-oriented individual who ensures execution through to delivery, collaborating with cross-functional departments to guarantee the successful launch and promotion of products, vertical solutions, training initiatives, and both local and global programs across the Watts, Enware, and AVG brands within Australia.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Leadership & Resource Management:
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and management of internal and external resources, including marketing assistants, graphic designers, creative teams, and media agencies.-
- Ensure all team members are aligned with strategic objectives, maintain high-quality standards, and meet project deadlines effectively.Strategic Website and Content Management:
- Ensure the website content is current and engaging, including product information, promotional content, news articles, and brochures, with a strong focus on SEO to maximize visibility and traffic.-
- Oversee the management and maintenance of the central Product Information Management System (PIMs) to ensure accurate, up-to-date, and consistent product data and assets are uniformly available. This holistic approach supports all related marketing communications for the Watts brands across Australia.Customer Communication Leadership:
- Oversee the development and finalization of customer communication materials, including brochures, flyers, digital presenters, merchant collateral, TV display content, invitations, eDMs, and display equipment.-
- Ensure all communications align with brand guidelines and strategic objectives.Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Foster effective collaboration and communication with key internal and external stakeholders to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Marketing function. Build and maintain strong relationships to support overall business goals.Content Strategy & Optimisation:
- Develop and oversee strategic content plans for targeted audiences.-
- Manage the publishing, tracking, and optimization of content on various digital and social media platforms.-
- Social Media management - that include blogs, promotional material, website copy, website images, articles and interviews.-
- Managing updates and changes to all online platforms - images, copy, Social Media updates etc.-
- Provide feedback and reports on posts and programs - including click through, analytics, shares, likes etc.-
- Optimizing images / banners / tiles for all websites and ensuring all information is kept up to date.-
- Respond to posts and enquiries in a timely and professional manner.Product Launch & Event Coordination:
- Lead and support new product launches, trade shows, segment campaigns, and partnerships with advertising partners. Ensure all initiatives are executed flawlessly and achieve desired outcomes.-
- Coordination for all major customer & trade events. This includes working with all sales and marketing personnel to ensure timelines and executions are managed effectively with both timing and cost.-
- Reporting and cost analysis versus return on all trade events.Annual Marketing Planning:
- Contribute to the development and execution of the annual Marketing plan. Create communication amplification strategies to effectively approach and engage target audiences across all channels.Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting. Prepare and present monthly reports for the Senior Management team, providing insights and recommendations based on performance metrics.Market and Competitor Research:
- Conduct thorough research on competitor and market activity. Share insights and strategies to ensure the brands remain competitive and innovative in the marketplace.Continuous Improvement and Adaptability:
- Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as required.-
- Stay abreast of industry trends and continuously seek opportunities to improve marketing processes and outcomes.-

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Public Relations, or a related discipline is advantageous.QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
