**Overview**
- The Client, Cyber Uplift and Reform are looking for 2 x Cyber Analysts to join a growing team of engineers and analysts building and running a security operations capability.
- As a Cyber analyst, you will work to analyse threats in the environment, manage vulnerabilities and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Department’s security capabilities.

Primary Skills
- Provide support in identifying, analysing and making recommendations to **mitigate vulnerabilities **to the Department’s IT systems and/or networks.
- Work with various teams across the business and technology to identify security requirements and make recommendations
- Monitor for and perform initial risk assessment on **new vulnerabilities affecting our systems**.
- Proactively respond to any potential cyber issues following predefined actions to handle BAU and high severity issues including escalating to other support groups.
- Investigate, document, respond and report on cyber security issues and emerging trends.
- Support the implementation and operational delivery of an aspect of a **Security service, for example; Cyber Intelligence, Cyber Response, Digital Forensics, Vulnerability Management**:

- **Investigate cyber security events** related to information **technology systems, networks, and digital evidence.**:

- Contribute to the selection and implementation of new technology and solutions, including in the assistance of the development of business cases.
