We’re expanding, and we’re looking for a Technical Consulting Manager to lead and mentor our technical consulting team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Team Leadership:

- Manage and mentor the technical consulting team, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Allocate resources and manage workflows to meet client needs and project deadlines.
- Technical Consulting:

- Oversee Protective DNS service architecture and configuration for complex networks.
- Lead escalated troubleshooting and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
- Client Engagement:

- Present Whalebone solutions to clients and partners, and occasionally travel for meetings and conferences
- Innovation & Strategy:

- Encourage team innovation in automation, technical documentation, and product improvements.

**Requirements**:

- Leadership experience in a technical consulting or support role.
- Advanced Linux skills, network administration, and deep internet protocol knowledge.
- Expertise in network administration, including routing, switching, and firewalls.
- Strong communication, problem-solving.

Nice-to-have:

- DNS, Docker, and cybersecurity experience is a plus.
- Data analysis/mining
- Experience with malware analysis or triaging
