CPS IT Consulting is supporting a long standing client recruit for a **Technical Services Manager **to be based in Canberra.

Our client is a leading provider of Managed Services and Professional IT Services and Solutions in Australia and is listed on the ASX. Our client specialises in delivering exceptional services to their clients throughout the country, offering a flexible approach that covers advising, integrating, managing, and securing their IT environments

As the **Technical Services Manager **, your main responsibility will be to lead and support the technical and engineering team (approx 50 staff) across the country, ensuring their performance, efficiency, and growth while providing Technical Services to the Integrations and Managed Services groups.

**Here are the key things you'll be doing**:

- Drive the billable utilization and technical performance of the Technical Services team.
- Take charge of recruiting, retaining, training, developing, and managing permanent and contract staff to meet the service needs of their clients.
- Manage the allocation of technical staff to various projects, service contracts, support jobs, and consulting tasks.
- Analyze pipeline and demand on a weekly and monthly basis to create resourcing plans, recruitment strategies, utilization forecasts, and performance management initiatives.
- Assist in business development, pre-sales activities, client engagement, and reviews to ensure a successful engineering team.
- Develop and guide staff based on current workload, client demands, and market trends.
