Applications are invited from interested persons for the above full time position of Regional Services Attendant to be based at our Bradman Street Depot, Cootamundra.

**Functions include**

Maintenance within the regional services area, assisting with regulatory services, cemeteries, weed management and parks and gardens.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Maintain the saleyards in a safe, workable and clean condition.
- Maintain the truck washes in a safe, workable and clean condition.
- Ensure Council’s Work Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to within the work environment.
- Ensure the delivery of quality customer service to both external and internal customers.
- Ensure impounding of abandoned, unattended and trespassing animals is carried out in accordance with the Impounding Act 1993.
- Assist with management of weed issues, by responding to matters relating to Council owned and managed lands in townships of Cootamundra and Gundagai.
- Assist Regulatory Service staff where required and Parks & Gardens.
- Respond to Customer Action Request System (CARS).
- Ensure impounding of abandoned, unattended, obstructing, unregistered Vehicles is carried out in accordance with the Open Spaces Act 2021

**Benefits**
- Salary range of $1,127.00 - $1,318.55 gross per week.

**MANAGER ENGINEERING COOTAMUNDRA -**Permanent Full Time**

Are you an experienced Engineering Manager ready to take on an exciting leadership role in a multi-disciplinary team?

We are seeking a passionate leader, who is talented and motivated to join our leadership team here at Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council on an ongoing, full-time basis. As the Manager Engineering you will manage Council’s Engineering functions within the Cootamundra portion of the Local Government Area, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering services for our local community.

With well-developed technical, leadership and people management skills you will provide the team with clear objectives, manage change and deliver outstanding outcomes in line with the objectives of Council.

**Statement of Function**

Manage the operation and co-ordinate the activities of Council’s - Civil works, maintenance & construction, Road Safety, Plant & Fleet, the Depots & workshops, Water & Sewerage, Assets and Work Health & Safety.

Reporting to the Deputy General Manager Operations, this position is required to lead and direct the policy, planning, program delivery and operations of the Section and lead a team responsible for the following functions.

**CONCRETE LABOURER** - COOTAMUNDRA**

Applications are invited from interested persons for the above position of **Concrete** **Labourer**, based at our Cootamundra Depot.

**Key responsibilities include**:
This position is to assist and contribute in a team of labourers, drivers and plant operators to complete scheduled Council works tasks, specifically being concrete and drainage works.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in target objectives of Council to the work team and promote teamwork.
- Ensure work is conducted safely and completed to required standards.
- Ensure the effective use of labour, plant and tools and that resources are maintained routinely.
- Identify improvements to work methods and procedures and make recommendations to work supervisors.

Ensure Council resources are operated in accordance with WHS requirements and standards.

**Benefits**:

- Gross Weekly Wage $1,044.04 - $1,221.41
- Nine-day fortnight
- 11.5% Superannuation
