**About the role**

As a Retail Sales and Design member you will be part of a dedicated team and will be the first point of contact for our customers. In this role you will be expected to find out the needs of the customer and then present them with a suitable solution. As such you will need to have a thorough understanding of the products and services provided by Stratco and be willing to participate in regular training relating to Stratco’s products and systems to ensure your knowledge is kept up to date.

**Key responsibilities**
- Face to face and telephone customer service and sales
- Providing yard hand and loading stock assistance
- General housekeeping activities
- Adherence to Stratco safety procedures and other policies

**About you**
- A passion to deliver outstanding customer service with the ability to provide solutions and drives sales
- Previous experience within a retail and/or the building industry will be looked upon favorably
- Estimating and design skills will be highly regarded
- Highly organised in a fast paced environment with an eye for detail
- Strong administration and data entry skills
- Effective problem solver who can develop solutions that meet the customers’ needs
- Excellent communication skills and a personable, approachable team player attitude
- Possess a genuine desire to further develop a leadership career

**This is a permanent full time opportunity, requiring the flexibility to work alternate weekends.**

This role is ideal for an experienced customer service professional providing an opportunity to transfer, if you are relocatable, to other SA local and regional Stratco stores with the prospects of broadening and building your career experiences.
