In this role, you will play a crucial part in creating a safe and efficient Distribution Centre while overseeing warehouse operations and supervising team leaders and staff.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and optimize the Distribution Centre operation to ensure exceptional service levels to our valued customers while minimizing overall costs to the company.
- Lead and mentor teams in close collaboration with the Distribution Management team.
- Monitor, measure, and maintain high standards for operational processes, consistently seeking areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with management to enhance business operations and performance through continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development, deployment, and implementation of business improvement strategies to drive profitability and streamline the distribution center's operations.
- Provide on-the-job training to team leaders and staff, fostering a culture of skill development and growth.
- Implement effective quality control techniques and procedures to uphold our commitment to delivering excellent products and services.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to all Fantastic Furniture stores and customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

**Requirements**:

- Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline, demonstrating your expertise in distribution and warehouse management.
- Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end warehouse operations, coupled with familiarity with warehouse management systems.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing continuous improvement initiatives, driving efficiency and productivity.
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety obligations, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our team and customers.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration and communication across the team.
