**About the Austin Health Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Service**
The IBD Service is a sub-specialty of Gastroenterology that sits within the Surgical Anaesthesia and Procedural Medicine Division (SAPM). The service consists of a dedicated multi-disciplinary team (MDT) who provide collaborative care for patients with IBD. The clinical research part of the service has expertise in managing pharmaceutical sponsored and investigator initiated clinical trials, from first in human Phase 1 through to Phase 4 studies.
**About the role**
A regular day will see you:
- Liaise with clinical research teams, clinical trials monitors and collaborators to facilitate timely high-quality submissions and follow up as required.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of investigator site files (ISFs) in accordance with ICH-GCP, sponsor and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in relevant team meetings with the IBD research team.
**About you**
As the Ethics submission and administrative coordinator, you will be someone who has excellent communication skills, with a strong commitment to excellence in patient care. You’ll bring energy and drive to your work, and have a keen interest in developing your skillset.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring with you:
- Tertiary qualification and/or equivalent experience in an administrative/life science field
- A flexible approach to managing assigned workload
- Working knowledge of, or willingness to learn relevant research guidelines and regulations relevant to role
- Developed computer literacy skills and familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
