THE OPPORTUNITY
In our state-of-the-art Melbourne support office (Mulgrave) and reporting to the Senior Billing Specialist, the Assistant Accountant will be responsible for ensuring billing processes are carried within agreed timescales, sales invoices are presented to Customers in line with customer requirements. **In this role, your key responsibilities will include**:

- End-to-end monthly Billing processes, with an understanding of customer requirements and timeframes
- Ensure processes and rules relating to Capex, Projects and Opex cost allocations are adhered to
- Accurate processing of sales invoices within agreed timeframes and inline with customer requirements
- Accurate updates of ERP and Ledger records to match billing/funding route
- Work with numerous stakeholders to track project status for billings - including progress billings

**To be considered for this role you will have / be**:

- Degree-level qualifications in accounting or similar preferred
- End of month reconciliation of general ledger experience - essential
- High attention to detail and ability to manage large data sets
- Advanced level of computer literacy, including Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel including Formulas, VLookups, Charts and Pivot Tables)
- Experience of working with multiple stakeholders - preferred but not essential
