This government agency uses data and behavioural insights to drive improvements with government strategy, managing investment priorities, funding and allocations.

**About the role**
The Strategy and Performance Analyst will manage the collection, coding, validation and analysis of incident data and report on safety and operational performance to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Responsibilities:_
- Work cooperatively within a team, exchange information and assist other team members to achieve team objectives and work outcomes.
- Collect, validate, and code incident data associated with the operation using the First Priority system.
- Prepare and distribute the Daily Incident Report (DIR) to relevant stakeholders withing the required timeframes, in support of prescribed regulatory reporting.
- Prepare internal/external safety performance reports including but not limited to Safety Monthly/Quarterly and Annual Performance Reports.
- Complete technical, statistical and predictive analysis of incident and hazard data to support proactive risk management, including management of various internal/external dashboards.

**About you**
- In depth data management skills with proven experience in data analysis and report writing.
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer systems and MS Excel (advanced level) with an emphasis on applied mathematical reasoning, advanced analytics and automation, and experience in SQL and database design and development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Permanent resident or citizen
- Per NSW Government policy all employees must be fully vaccinated.
