You will be a key player in ensuring that projects align with environmental regulations and standards. This role contributes to minimizing environmental impact and developing sustainable mining practices.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with environmental requirements throughout project lifecycle.
- Conducting comprehensive environmental impact assessments and offering expert advice on potential environmental risks.
- Engaging with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and Indigenous communities to facilitate approvals processes.
- Staying updated on relevant environmental legislation and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental approvals and permitting within the mining or related industry.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, impact assessments, and approvals processes.
- Strong understanding of Indigenous engagement and stakeholder management.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex environmental data.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders.
