**Your new role**

As the Departments Cyber Security SME, you’ll be at the forefront against cyber threats. Your responsibilities will include:

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with a diverse array of stakeholders to identify and develop Cyber Security requirements for inclusion in approaches to market.
- Documentation: Develop comprehensive documentation covering both current state and future state requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment.
- Support: Assist the Cyber Security Bundle Lead, Sourcing Lead, Program Manager, and Program Office in achieving their deliverables.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated 3+ years of experience in a similar role within a medium/large organisation, showcasing your knowledge of ICT and Cyber Security technologies and best practices.
- Hold certifications or memberships in relevant professional organisations such as CISSP, Security+, CISA, CISM, SABSA, GIAC, and SANs.
- Proven track record in implementing Government ICT outsourcing arrangements, including requirements development, tender evaluation, contract negotiation, and service implementation.
- Hands-on experience in implementing Cyber Security services within large-scale ICT environments, particularly in a government context.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and change management abilities to ensure smooth transitions and minimise disruption.
- Articulate requirements, expectations, and outcomes clearly through both verbal and written channels.

**Your new role**

As the Departments Cyber Security Bundle Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of their cyber defence. Your core functions will include:

- Work closely with the Sourcing Lead and the Program Office Lead to define, scope, and manage the delivery of critical outcomes.
- Partner with the EL2 Director to ensure robust engagement with existing Cyber Security service teams.
- Collaborate with the Cyber and Protective Security Branch to chart the future direction of ICT and cyber security policies, processes, and operational arrangements.
- Develop approach-to-market documentation for Cyber Security services, engaging stakeholders effectively.
- Investigate modern ICT Cyber Security practices and delivery models, keeping us ahead of the curve.
- Ensure that technical services resulting from sourcing activities meet our department’s ICT and cyber security requirements.
- Support the Sourcing Lead in aligning the ICT Sourcing Plan with our approved and emerging ICT and cyber security strategies and policies.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Demonstrated 5+ years of experience in a similar role within a medium/large organisation, showcasing your expertise in ICT and Cyber Security technologies and best practices.
- Hold certifications or memberships in relevant professional organisations such as CISSP, Security+, CISA, CISM, SABSA, GIAC, and SANs.
- Bridging the gap between technical and non-technical teams, identifying strategic gaps, resolving complex issues, and seeking consensus.
- Articulate requirements, expectations, and outcomes clearly to stakeholders, executives, and technical staff.
- Thrive under pressure, meticulously planning, coordinating, and tracking progress within agreed timelines.
