**Role Description/Criteria**

Classroom Teacher - (Graduates strongly encouraged to apply)

Contract position with the possibility of an ongoing role.

In partnership with our children, staff, parents, parish and the wider community, Holy Cross Catholic Primary School gives witness to the Christian faith in our Catholic tradition. Special Requirements
- a commitment to, and a respect for the Catholic identity of the school
- knowledge of how Catholic life is lived out at the school, e.g. prayer, sacraments, parish life, etc
- accreditation to teach in a Catholic school or a willingness to undertake accreditation to teach in a Catholic school
- an ability to collaborate and actively contribute in a team focused environment
- knowledge and experience in the implementation of contemporary teaching and learning strategies in Literacy, Numeracy and personalised inquiry learning (Project based and Play based learning)
- understanding of wellbeing strategies to support learning
- experience in and practical understanding of differentiated learning whereby all students within a classroom can learn effectively, regardless of differences in ability
- a passion for building strong partnerships between our families and school
- a willingness to be open and responsive to new learning
