Delivery Driver/warehouse Assistant

We require the services of a delivery driver for our airline clients. The successful applicant will have an open drivers licence with an impeccable driving history. This position is casual with an option for full-time for the right applicant after a qualifying period. You must be able to work in a team environment and understand time scheduling. You will also be required to step in to help out the team in the warehouse and production if required.

We will wait for the right person if you need to give notice, however we are looking for an immediate start.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the delivery vehicle
- Load and unload trolleys from the delivery vehicle
- Verify the contents of each delivery against the manifest
- Maintain an accurate record of all deliveries made
- Communicate with customers and provide updates on delivery status
- Report any incidents or accidents involving the delivery vehicle to management
- Perform routine maintenance on the delivery vehicle, such as checking oil and tyre pressure
- Ensure that all deliveries are handled safely and securely

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Ability to load trolleys onto tailgate of van
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Familiarity with GPS devices and other navigation tools

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $28.64 - $70.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Brisbane Airport, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (required)
