Avid Healthcare is looking for a compassionate and reliable Support Worker to assist an NDIS participant with community access and regular walks. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being active, engaging with the community, and making a positive impact on someones life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the client during walks to promote health and well-being
- Assist with community outings and social engagement
- Ensure safety and provide companionship
- Follow the client, care plan and encourage independence
**Requirements**:
- Experience in disability or aged care (preferred)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, patient, and passionate about supporting others
- Ability to build rapport and create a positive experience for the client
