The Data Management team within APRA is seeking a leading Automation Test Analyst. The role will sit as part of a Product team working along-side the development team and business teams on testing BI, ETL and other solutions in the team.

**Key Tasks**
- Develop testing frameworks for API automation tests, database tests (SQL/ Oracle)
- Create and execute test plans and test scenarios
- Creation and execution of automated test scripts with associate tracking and reporting
- Addressing issues raised by report developers or business end-users.
- Build automated quality gates into the development pipeline to reduce defect count and shorten the feedback loop
- Development and management of CI/CD pipelines
- Support manual testing when required
- Be part of the end - end lifecycle of small - large pieces of work, working as part of a Product team (analysis, technical design, effort estimations, delivery, maintenance)

**Required Experience (Skills Required)**
- Ability to understand and write SQL scripts
- Knowledge using automation tools
- Experience in test planning, test execution, test automation
- Experience in using JMeter for performance testing
- Experience in API testing (SOAP UI/ PostMan) and writing API performance tests
- Experience running automation testing in CI/CD platforms - ie Jenkins
- Ability to code in at least one programming language (Java/ JavaScript/ C#/ etc)
- Knowledge on GIT in maintaining source code repositories.
- Delivery of end-to-end data lifecycle projects (from source to target, through semantic layer and into presentation layer)
- Experience working in an Agile team - Kanban and Scrum frameworks

**Favourable Experience**:

- Experience using UFT
- Exposure to Integration testing
- Azure Dev-ops knowledge on testing and scripting.
- Experience using Zephyr plug in in JIRA for manual testing
- Knowledge of writing test scripts to test thick clients
