Risk Analyst

**About the Role**
An exciting opportunity to join BOQ Group (which includes Bank of Queensland, Virgin Money Australia and ME Bank) as a Risk Analyst during our digital transformation journey on a permanent basis. By joining the digital bank of the future, you will be able to make a difference with curiosity and optimism by supporting incident management across Retail and Business Bank teams, adding significant value to our organisation. With exciting projects currently underway, you will be a key contributor to unique business development and change across the BOQ Group.

As a Risk Analyst, you will support and provide guidance to Retail and Business Bank teams on adherence to the Operational Risk Framework. This role will specifically focus on the identification, reporting, assessment, mitigation and management of non-financial risks, controls, issues and incidents.

Reporting to our Manager of Risk Incident Management and Systems, you will also provision risk insights, themes and trends, further supporting incident, issue and treatment plan management and associated system administration activities.

You will have the ability to analyse and interpret financial, statistical and qualitative data and present it in a logical manner. This requires strong problem-solving skills supported by excellent attention to detail. As someone who is curious, you are a critical thinker who is able to challenge the status quo.
