**The role**:

- This is a multiskilled Community Laws Officer position which includes Animal Management, Local Laws investigations, Building Site Enforcement, Fire Prevention and Litter Enforcement. The position will protect the community through investigation, education and the enforcement of Council's Local Law and other relevant legislation. This fixed the 2 year position will undertake compliance activities in the north east section of Whitehorse to ensure mínimal impacts from state government projects.

**About you**:
To be considered for this position you will have:

- Relevant qualifications in investigations, animal handling or similar
- Demonstrated skills and experience in a regulatory environment
- Knowledge of relevant legislation that relate to this position
- High level time management and work prioritisation skills
