**About the Role**

The General Manager is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction for Safety Steel Structures, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of all aspects of the business. This includes overseeing daily operations, driving safety and productive improvements and ensuring the company meets or exceeds its financial, operational and customer satisfaction targets. The General Manager is also responsible for fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement, and employee development while ensuring compliance within industry standards and regulations. By optimising resources, managing budgets, and implementing effective procurement strategies, the General Manager will enhance overall profitability and support the company’s long-term growth. Additionally, this role is instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, building strong client and supplier relationships, and leading Safety Steel Structures towards innovation and market leadership.
