We have an incredible opportunity available at Domain for a Software Team Leader. In this role, you will lead a group of talented developers working on a high-revenue product serving Australian real estate agents. Your role will involve defining the target system state, aligning the technical roadmap, and driving the delivery of innovative products and features.

**Who are you?**
- Working collaboratively to enable and empower team members to build quality full stack software
- Helping the team write clean, readable, resilient, scalable and well-tested code
- Championing best practices within the team and across Domain’s engineering community
- Providing career development & performance growth for team members and assist with the hiring process for new team members
- Collaborating closely with Product Managers, architects and other stakeholders to facilitate solutions-led thinking within the team and across Domain

**Attributes**:

- Clear and effective written and spoken communication skills.
- An ownership mindset and empathy for your team and customers
- Experience leading a team of diverse, multi-skilled engineers with a deep understanding of software development processes
- Understanding and experience with contemporary software engineering practices

**Experience with**:

- Leading a web focused product engineering team with some aspects of either Java or Ruby-on-Rails middleware
- Hands on experience with React, NextJS, Docker
- Foundational experience in Java middleware including Spring and Gradle
- Foundational understanding of cloud technologies (AWS highly considered)
- Exposure to Ruby-on-Rails is desirable but not mandatory
- CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)

**Advocate of**:

- Full stack development practices
- TDD and Automation Testing
- Infrastructure as Code
- Able to work with a range of technical and non-technical teams, across different areas and departments
- Effective prioritisation of individual, team, company objectives and the work required to achieve them
