We are looking for experienced Disability Support Workers in the Capalaba area with Bowel Therapy and catheter experience have a willingness to learn to join QSSS as part of our Client’s Support Worker team.

Our Client is a thrill-seeker who loves the fast-paced world of auto racing and drag racing. When he's not working on his custom build, he's gaming and staying up to date with current affairs. He's also a dog lover and values his privacy and independence. If you share his love for dogs and respect his right to choice and control, you are definitely the perfect fit

We're looking for a Support Worker who is loyal, reliable, and committed and understands the privilege of Support Work and the responsibilities to assisting participants in staying healthy and living the life they choose.

Shifts are available 7 days a week as follows: 8:30am to 10:30am during the week, Saturday & Sunday 9:00am to 11:00am.

**QSSS hourly rates are Weekday $35.66, Evening $38.30, Night $39.33, Saturday $48.65, Sunday $62.62, Public Holidays $76.38 -**_ **(sorry, rates are not negotiable).**_

You will have support in your role via a comprehensive care plan and support from our awesome Support Specialist team.

- **Your key responsibilities & accountabilities**:_
- To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered
- Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist
- Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs
- Provide support to our Clients as required
- Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner
- Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required
- Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients
- To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals
- **To be successful you must**:_
- Resonate with the role description above
- Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives
- Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia
- Hold or be willing to obtain NDIS worker screening or yellow card
- Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card
- Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (preferred)
- Experience in bowel care/therapy (required)

Pay: $35.66 - $39.99 per hour
