**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the **Corporate Administration Services** team as **Information Release Officer,**where you will be responsible for:

- Providing a consumer-oriented, efficient service to facilitate timely and confidential access to clinical and corporate information for internal and external clients, accountable to the Manager, Information Release Office.
- Processing and managing Freedom of Information (FOI) and Release of Information (ROI) requests in compliance with legislation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and adherence to internal guidelines and procedures.
- Coordinating and monitoring requests from the Department for Child Protection, ensuring all responses are accurate, timely, and escalated as needed.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and privacy standards when handling a high volume of complex and sensitive health information.
- Managing medical records retrieval, storage, and tracking, ensuring compliance with departmental standards and statutory requirements.
- Providing expert customer service and support, assisting clients with information access processes, appropriate consent, and advice on release procedures.
- Working collaboratively within the team and contribute to continuous service improvement, training, and compliance with all relevant systems, policies, and legislation.

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Demonstrated experience in a busy administrative environment, maintaining accurate records and managing large volumes of work with high attention to detail.
- Highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills, with strong verbal and written communication abilities to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work independently or as part of a team, managing priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of administrative processes, privacy and confidentiality principles, and an understanding of Freedom of Information and Privacy legislation.
