As an Inventory Controller, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and availability of stock levels, managing raw material production requirements, and effectively converting stock to meet production demands.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the efficient operation of our manufacturing facilities and support our commitment to delivering high-quality products.
**In this role you will**:
- Develop and implement inventory control strategies to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure the availability of materials for production.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to validate inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring alignment between physical stock and system records.
- Monitor stock levels, anticipate demands, and collaborate with procurement and production teams to optimize inventory levels and avoid stockouts or overstock situations.
- Collaborate with production planning and procurement teams to accurately forecast raw material requirements based on production schedules and customer orders.
- Stock Conversion: Coordinate the conversion of stock items to finished goods, ensuring efficient utilization of materials, and minimizing waste.
- Conduct periodic audits to assess inventory accuracy, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, procurement, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of inventory-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory management, recordkeeping, and reporting.
**Your experience includes**:
- Proven experience as an Inventory Controller or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control principles, techniques, and best practices.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and identify trends or issues.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
